Anti-Bullying Week

The School Council held a special assembly for Anti-Bullying Week

Mrs. Burns, the school's Child Protection Officer, along with the School Council, held a special assembly for Anti-Bullying Week. The theme was to use your 'power of good' to stop bullying. The pupils were informed about the different types of bullying and ways to prevent same from happening.

As a follow up, the pupils were all given a piece of work to complete for Anti-Bullying Week:

Key Stage 1 pupils were asked to decorate a 'key of friendship' with all the things that make a good friend. They had to suggest some ideas of how to use their 'power of good' to stop bullying.

Key Stage 2 pupils were asked to create a cartoon strip showing an example of bullying. They had to think of a scenario where bullying takes place, state who it is happening to and how they would use their 'power of good' to stop the bullying.
