As part of Shared Education with Woods Primary School, we enjoyed STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Workshops.
On Wednesday 15th June, P1's were forensic scientists exploring the finger printing process.
P2's explored the colour spectrum and surface tension.
P3's got to work testing foods for starch and vitamins.
P4's explored flight. They made an aeroplane and blasted off a rocket.
On Monday 20th June, P5 - P7 pupils enjoyed finding out about flight. They made model rockets and helicopters fly as they took part in the Sentinus Flight Challenge.
A big thank you to the team from Sentinus who provided the workshops. The children really enjoyed all the very practical activities, and it was good to catch up with our friends from the Woods!
