Yesterday our school was bursting with colour, excitement, and imagination as the children arrived dressed as their favourite book characters! From classic heroes to modern storybook stars, the effort and creativity were simply amazing – well done boys and girls!
We also held a whole?school book swap, which was a huge success. The children loved choosing a new story to take home and share, and it was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm for reading.
A special highlight of the day was when Mrs Higgins’ class visited Mrs Tohill’s class to read stories together. The older pupils read beautifully and the younger children absolutely loved listening. Such a lovely moment of shared learning and friendship across year groups.
