Our girls’ football team travelled to St. Pius X College Magherafelt for a fantastic day of football, playing against Bellaghy, Derrychrin Primary School, Ballylifford and Gaelscoil an tSeanchai. The girls played exceptionally well throughout, showing great teamwork, skill and determination in every match.
Their hard work paid off as they progressed through the group stages and made it through to the Shield semi-final. Unfortunately, they were narrowly beaten by New Row St. Patrick’s PS, but they can be incredibly proud of their performance and effort on the day.
A huge thank you to the staff and pupils of St Pius X College for the invitation and wonderful hospitality. We were also very lucky to have great weather, which made the day even more enjoyable.
