  • Feast of the Immaculate Conception
    This year the board do not have the 8th December as a day off, therefore if you would like to take your child/children to mass on this date you may do so and they will be marked present if they arrive in to school after mass.
  • Christmas Plays
    This year's Christmas Plays will take place on Friday, 15th December. We will be holding 3 separate plays for each Key Stage.
  • Christmas Jumper Day
    Christmas jumpers may be worn on the day of the Christmas dinner - Thursday, 7th December. We would ask that each child please bring in £1 to go towards school funds. Thank you!
  • Road Safety Week
    During Road Safety Week, we continued to encourage our children to be safe whilst out and about.
  • PE Gear
    It is now possible to purchase PE Gear online from O'Neill's (https://www.oneills.com).
  • Quiz Night a Big Success!
    A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Quiz Night on Friday, 10th November. There was a fantastic turnout on the night and it raised an amazing £2,400 for school funds.
  • Anti-Bullying Week
    Our pupils have been taking part in various activities during Anti-Bullying Week to raise their awareness of bullying and how to deal with same.
  • Scór na bPáistí Dhoire
    Well done to our pupils who represented the school in Scór na bPáistí Dhoire. They took part in the quiz, traditional music and solo singing categories.
  • Visit from Zoo Lab
    The pupils all enjoyed a visit from Zoo Lab on Monday, 6th November. Some of the creatures they got to pet or hold included a snake, a lizard (Bearded Dragon), a millipede and an African Snail.
  • Road of Hope: Shoebox Appeal
    A big thank you to everyone who donated a box of gifts to the Road of Hope Shoebox Appeal. Your generosity is much appreciated.
  • Movie Afternoon
    Thank you to everyone who supported our Movie Afternoon. It raised £277 which will go towards buying new playground equipment.
  • 'Good to be Green' Half Term Raffle
    Well done to the pupils who won a box of chocolates in the 'Good to be Green' half term raffle. Keep up the good behaviour!
  • October Pupil Awards
    Congratulations to the pupils who received certificates for the October Pupil Awards.
  • Halloween Fancy Dress
    Well done to all the pupils who made such an effort to dress up for Halloween.
  • Mr Hullabaloo Show
    Primary 1, 2 and 3 pupils all enjoyed a show by Mr Hullabaloo in Wood's Primary School on Wednesday, 25th October.
